You'll get access to the Kickstart mini-course right away. Just watch your email inbox for your welcome email, which will include your login information.

You'll keep access to the materials for the lifetime of the course (as long as I'm offering it.) 

If you have questions, there are two options for getting support: 

1) Post your question in beneath the course lesson you're struggling with;

2) If you opt-in for live support during your enrollment, you can ask questions in our community area, or during a live Zoom call. 

The 6 core course video lessons are very short: 2-5 minutes long. 

Setting up a scent work session for your dog usually only takes a minute or two, unless you decide to create a very fancy search area! 

The rest of the time required is determined by your dog. Most dogs with mild to moderate fear and anxiety can complete the Kickstart lessons in a week or less. For very fearful dogs who are cautious around anything novel, it can take much longer (weeks to months, depending on whether you have personalized support from me.)

K9 Nose Work and ACK Scent Work are formalized programs with strict rule structures and competitive events. Although dogs usually start training for these events using food, they graduate on to finding non-food scents.

The scent work games in this Kickstart mini-course are not intended to prepare your dog for competition.  Your dog will be sniffing out treats, because that's the easiest thing for beginner dogs to start with- and the reinforcement (food) is built right in when they successfully find the treat! 

The follow-up games I teach in my more advanced courses and Confidence Builders Club membership that build on what you'll learn in this mini-course, focus on generalizing sniffing & eating behaviors (& the associated fun & confidence!) to real-world settings where my students tend to struggle: Outdoors, on walks, at the vet, in the car, & more. 

Yes- if you aren't able to teach you dog some scent-based games after completing the Scent Work Kickstart lessons, I'll refund your $17. No hoops to jump through.
