Help fearful dogs build confidence with puzzle toys

Does your anxious dog give up on food puzzle toys easily? This is so common, especially amongst fearful dogs. Luckily, there are simple changes you can make to how you prepare and use puzzle toys, that can make them more rewarding for your dog to play with.

In this video, I show you some strategies that some of my students have used to introduce their nervous dog to puzzle toys that are usually too difficult for fearful dogs. Take a look, and tell me what you think!
